How do I react to comments like this one:

In one of my videos I'm presenting my new mic that kinda looks like these from the 50's (Samson Meteor). Now there's someone telling me in broken English that it looks like an anal probe and the more a mic looks like a sextoy the better it is.

(How) Should I respond to that? Or should I just keep/delete that comment. Can't tell if it's a troll or someone who thinks he/she is pretty funny. :rolleyes:

Not 100% sure but at least it doesn't sound like he/she is really insulting or being mean to anyone. I'd say just leave it unless you feel personally offended by this and have to think of it every time you hold the mic in front of your face now. Haha!
 
Just keep it. I've had lovely, fabulous hate (and weird) comments, that I've kept for other viewers to see. It's quite funny sometimes to see responses to these kind of comments :3
Unless of course you're offended by those types of comments, you could always block that user.
 
Yeah, I often wonder what would happen if mankind would use all the creativity that flies into nasty/naughty/mean/offending YouTube comments into something useful? :)
 
I would just leave it like that. People often write strange comments trying to be funny and there are a lot of young kids on YT, but as long as he/she is not offensive it's fine. At least you can tell that he watched the video ;)
 
Personally I would leave it as my content is not meant for people who would be offended by that, and my language in some let's plays is worse. But it depends not only on how it makes you feel but if you think your viewers are going to be offended then remove it. A comment like that, though, is quite tame and you could probably even use it as a running joke in your videos ("I'll just move closer to my butt prob- I mean mic here" or "This new mic is definitely better quality than my old one but it doesn't look like a sexy toy so I don't like it").
 
Seems inappropriate but it's not insulting anyone so it's up to you to delete it or not :)
