How do I get top comment on a YouTube video?

What these guys have already said! Sometimes, regular commenters become known by other fans - I've seen a few of the same people commenting on Game Grumps and Markiplier's work and they end up getting upvoted for that alone! Haha.
 
I never understood why YouTube doesn't just sort top comments by how many upvotes they get. Instead they use a complex algorithm that factors subscriber count, frequency that you comment on that channel's videos, and reply count. So you have to comment frequently, have your comments get replies/ upvotes, and comment shortly after the video was uploaded.

Edit: In fact, that's why you usually see the same people as top comment, and why some top comments don't have upvotes at all.
