How can I record while school is on ? I'm struggling ? Help ?

What I found was easy to do was record at night after I did homework and other things to do with school, then when I had free time in the evening, I would record a few videos. It might vary as you might have a different schedule, but if you want to do it as a hobby, whenever you have a couple of hours free, spend it doing your videos. That's what I did. Not the best advice, but it worked for me.

What he said. If you can plan a weekly time slot, that can actually be a plus as subscribers learn when to expect your videos.

By the way, your school work and home work is always the main priority. ;)

I believe the key is forming a specific schedule, as others have mentioned. Be specific. Even if you tell yourself you'll do it 'today', it's important to specify when. Otherwise, you may keep putting it off until later and later, and before you know it, it'll be too late and you'll want to go to bed. This has happened to me on numerous occasions.

I'm not sure what stage you are in your life so I'm going to assume high school or middle school. I was part of the string orchestra, chamber orchestra, and National honor society. I participated in Fencing (winter) and Tennis (spring). I felt I had a lot of free time while still keeping my grades up ('A's with one or two 'B's).

Just tell yourself you're going to spend time on working on youtube stuff. If you were to write out everything that you have to do after school and how much time it would take you'd realize there is a lot of free time still you just have to use it wisely. You may have to trade your 'fun' time for recording and editing, but you have fun doing that already so you might as well do something that is productive while you have fun!

What I usually do is during the summer, I try to record as many let's play parts as I can (don't do too much or tire yourself out.) This way, I have a decent amount of videos to upload. But as for recording during school, record when you have finished all your homework; you might only be able to record one or two parts, but hey, some recording is better than nothing. Don't stress yourself first of all because if you do, you won't make good commentary (trust me, I've been there before.)

Just during the summer, when its one of those days when you have nothing else to do, remember to record a couple of parts; it has helped quite a lot when it came to uploading let's play parts.

And, another thing; remember that school is always your first priority; you want to focus on that more than anything else. But even if you do have a lot of extra-curricular activities and homework, you will still have a decent amount of free time.

As a student, you don't realize how much time you really do have! Imagine if you had to work 8 hours a day, maybe even on weekends.

I manage to keep up with my videos even when I have a full work schedule. Trick is to prioritize and manage your time. I need to take breaks when working, so I'll record footage in those breaks. Then later I'll do editing during other breaks. Rendering, exporting and uploading can all be done while I work. It's just a trick to find the right balance for you.
