How Are You Feeling About Midrolls

What do you think about networks forcing midrolls on videos. Sometimes one video having more than 10 midrolls. Do you think this is good, bad, alright. Tell me about it.

Why blame networks? It's the channel that has control over the ads that run on their videos. If they choose to run 10 mid rolls like an idiot to drive away their audience, then they will easily get the result they deserve. Midroll ads are very useful if you know to use the correctly and have content good enough to get people to tolerate them.

Nope, Midrolls are not the creators doing, Networks are making there channels do this. Midrolls can be added by the creator. But some networks are forcing midrolls, and if a channel has 700 videos, that's a lot to go and change

Do you really mean 10 midroll ads on a single video? I don't know what kind of videos you are watching. Maybe you could you reword this so it makes more sense? I don't really have much experience with midrolls since they only seem to air on longer videos (longer then 15 minutes) and I don't watch much of those.

I do watch longer videos, and i have seen 10 on videos longer than 1 hour. and 5-7 on 30min videos

The goal of most networks is to make as much income as possible. Midrolls is simply just a method for networks to increase their income to some extent. Most people do not like ads on videos and I can understand that completely. The owner of the channel can turn these midrolls off but if the network forces midrolls on videos then it's just a good and bad situation. Good for money income, but bad for people who dislike ads in videos. I just think it's alright, but forcing too many midrolls seems unnecessary at times. That's my opinion ^_^

If a contract states that the network has the right to monetize the content, then the network can set monetization policies which include midrolls.
