Hiding Subscriber Count - Yay or Nay?

I like seeing the subscriber counts because it does me proud to see people I've met at say 100 subs be at 8K months later. Also if a channel has less subs, I'm more likely to comment and do more interacting with their stuff because I want to help out. But in the end of the day, it is up to you. Not seeing a sub count doesn't discourage me from subbing or anything like that, but I think it's a good bonus.

Personally, I find it annoying when channels hide there sub count. Honestly, I don't know why, but it makes me not want to subscribe to them

I personally do not wonder about how many subscribers someone has on their channel. As l myself am nearing 100 subscribers (from being inactive and now jump-starting my channel again for good) understand that everyone starts at the lower single and double digit numbers. Yet, even though there's alot of people who do not care about numbers, there are still plenty of those who do which is really hindering alot of people's growth on YouTube. Overall if you are putting out good content worthy of watching, I will stay ontop of your channel even if you're at less than maybe 500.
