Hey YTtalk- is this a good editing pc ?

I'm about to buy this I've been comparing and searching all day. even best buy guy says asus is good.
ram is upgradable too and i think the graphics card is upgradable… I'm have this for youtube editing my digital art and etc.. help me out on your opinions

I am not familiar with AMD/ATI so I am not going to tell you whether or not this is the PC you should buy for Editing. However, what I can tell you is to do research. I cannot stress enough how important that is. It took me two months to learn what was neccessary for a gaming and editing PC and decide what I want for this year in gaming. Continue to ask around and look at other PC builds and pay attention to what is on websites like Newegg, TigerDirect, Micro Center, Fry's and so on. Sometimes when you buy PC's like this,they have warranty on em where if you open up the PC it may void the warranty. I almost made that mistake years ago so you may want to find a PC configuring site and make a build that will fit your budget after you do some more studying of course. You don't have make your own build on a PC configuring site just tinker with the components inside a build and learn what is apart of a PC and the needed components for what you want to do. Don't rush into getting a PC. Its kind of like getting a new car or house, at least in my opinion but I imagine getting a house is more stressful :p

hey, I'd recommend building yourown computerbecause it is cheaper and you would be far better off buttt some people dont like too. so like the guy above me said you don't rush into buying a computer, I would have to say a couple of things about the computer, most of the computer is pretty good, the CPU is good for editing (if it is the 3.8ghz/4ghz) but the Graphics card, If its upgradeable I would push for something with 2gb dedicated ram, just the safer option imo. otherwise it seems like a good computer for youtube editing and such:) (But make sure the graphic card is still better than the one inside)
 
It's Ok, but not a good PC that's going to be primarily for editing, editing requires more CPU and Memory, allot of Editing Software would easily max out 8GB Ram. Also try to get a Dedicated Graphics card asap for editing, since Vegas and Premier aren't fans of Integrated cards or APUs.

Try getting an Geforce card for CUDA for Editing and rendering.

Overall it's good for browsing the Net, but not editing.

It has 1gb dedicated amd Radeon 8350
 
I would recommend one of these two if you don't want to have to put a PC together yourself. Both great prices for what you are getting inside them. At least in my opinion. In the Acer Predator you are getting all this for $919:
i-7 4770 (3.40 Ghz)
GeForce GTX 760
8gb of RAM
1 TB Hard Drive

Like I said, I'd only consider these if I was to lazy to put together my own rig. The Acer Predator is on Newegg and you can find the ASUS Essentio on Best Buy. The reason I picked these is really because I like NVIDIA, the i-7 is more than you may really need, the price is something I would be able to afford, you should use the CUDA cores on the 760 to edit/render and because they are both a bit popular for noobs. By the way, what is your budget?
