Don't quit, When you feel like giving up because your channel hasn't gone anywhere, you're the one throwing away your chance to "take off." Do the best you can and always improve yourself, and the effort comes full circle :)

How long do you stick with a channel? Do you have an intro video for the non subscribers? Are you advertising new videos on twitter, facebook, instagram, etc? Are you cutting out all the boring slow time in the videos? People don't like slow.[DOUBLEPOST=1406060044,1406059840][/DOUBLEPOST]I agree with the above. Just keep at one channel, look at what you have done and how to make it better, THEN DO IT! It can take time to be discovered by people, by starting over, you are also starting the time you wait to be discovered.

Look at other channels and see what they are doing. What kinds of cuts do they make, what does their end screen look like, what does the layout of their front page look like. Is yours easy to navigate? How is your composition and lighting? Can people understand what you are saying? Are your videos too long?

It doesn't have to be expensive, I use cheap shop lights for lighting, and windows movie maker for editing (tho, for ease of use, I want something better, but it gets the job done).

Would you mind taking a look at my channel and giving some feedback as to how it looks?

You should use more intriguing thumbnails, be more involved on YouTube (Subscribe to more, comment, like) and just keep pushing out content. You only have one video now so you shouldn't expect to "take off"! When you're starting off for the first 6 months to a year, I always say expect as many views/subscriptions as you have video's...

EX: If you have 6 video's uploaded, expect an average of 6 views, and 6 subscribers. This is very reasonable to stick with, and may inspire you to stick with it.

Channels don't just "take off" unless you're hella lucky. First tip: stop making new channels. Stick to one. And that channel is gonna need aloooot of your attention. Read threads on here for more tips

Don't create new channels if the other is not going so well(in your eyes). You're putting yourself behind by creating every time new channels for the hope that it will ''take off''. Just stick to one channel and you probably know yourself it's a total waste of time to make new channel.
