Help! What does bottled mean?

I was reading a thread on this forum entitled:
YouTube views dropped abruptly?

What are people talking about when they say that a channel or YouTube user has been bottled? I have no clue what this means and would very much appreciate if someone could enlighten me.

You mean botted? It's where people use robotic views to get your channel in trouble.

I think they try to get channels taken down. It looks like the user is "botting" their own videos to gain money and views when in actuality somebody else is setting them up.

Why would they want to do this to someone though? Does it happen quite a lot? Also how would this relate to receiving a sharp decrease in views?

I'm not sure, I've never had it happen to my channel.

Okay thanks for your participation in this conversation. This is another question but very random and off topic. Do you think a copyright claim can impact the amount of views you get on your channel? Say if you recently received a copyright claim/strike but your channel is still in good standing, do you think this could affect the amount of views you get?

I got a copyright claim on a video I uploaded today. It got banned globally. I don't think I got a strike but maybe I did. But I got a dramatic decrease in views across most of my videos seemingly around exactly the same time that I got my video banned.

Do you think these two things could correlate somehow?

I'm worried that something is going to happen to my channel.
