Help!! Partner issues

Hi guys, I recently enabled monetization on one of my YouTube accounts and signed up for Adsense, but since I don't use that account anymore I disabled monetization and closed my Adsense account. However, it still says I'm a YouTube partner and my videos still show the dollar sign. I can't log into my Adsence account because I closed it. Why is this happening and how do I stop it. It won't approve me for a new account.

You can't have a duplicate AdSense account, you will be rejected if you apply with the same info. If you closed it, you may have to reopen that one. Not entirely sure how it all works. However you do have the ability to link a new AdSense account to your YouTube channel in monetization settings.

I closed my Adsense account. There is no account for that channel anymore. But it still says I'm a partner even though I disabled monetization. I closed the Adsense account for both YouTube accounts. It will not let me log into my Adsense account because obviously it's deactivated. But when I try to reapply for an application it says I already have an account with that email( but it's deleted) so I'm so upset because I can't create a new Adsense account and I can't delete an Adsense account and everything is a huge circle. I've literally been trying to solve this issue for 3 hours.

I believe the rules are one adsense account per person, you can't open new ones regardless if you have closed the old one unfortunately. My best advice would be to go onto the YouTube monetisation product forum and ask for advice there.

So basically I'm screwed. Because I closed the account and it won't let me reopen it now. It says I already have an account. So much for becoming a YouTube partner

Just go on the YouTube monetisation product forum they will probably be able to help you on there I think, hope you get sorted soon.

I believe the reason it still has dollar signs and everything on the old channel is because you need to disable monetization on that channel not close the adsense account. I think that's the issue. So when you closed it, it closed the account so you can't make a new one. The way to get the monetization turned off the channel is not to close the account but to go to Creator Studio, then Monetization tab on left, then the bottom button says disable monetization. That will turn off monetization on that channel. That way you can turn it on and off of different channels without closing the adsense account since you can only have one account made. So if you can get the adsense account back up, then disable the old channel and then you should be able to put the same adsense account you had onto the new channel assuming that they will let you reopen the old adsense account you closed. Hope that helps a little bit.

I have monetization disabled and it still shows the dollar signs. But I'll try everything else.[DOUBLEPOST=1453787328,1453735746][/DOUBLEPOST]Update: I figured it out. It took a day for Adsense to realize my other account closed.
