Help on deciding a camera please!

I know I need to spend more for a decent camera, but the issue is I don't have more. And also as Youtube is only a hobby at the moment, I don't want to be shelling out hundreds of pounds just for a camera. So at the moment I'd be happy with a mediocre-good camera that is within my budget but better than my current one ^_^

I currently have a digital camera that I spent about £50 on (which is better quality than my cheap phone), and it does the job but I would like to upgrade, as I've just recently bought myself a microphone upgrade as well which should be here in the next few weeks

Ok yeah that is better than your phone.
 
I use a Nikon L820 for my videos.

It's an excellent camera for the sort of money you are talking.

Maybe check that out. Plenty of videos on my channel to check the quality. At over 3 million views, the camera can't be too bad ;-)
