Help me make a decision.

I Love YTtalk
So I've created 2 banners that I am currently 'in love' with. The first one is my current one which is fairly good, but the second is one I just created that I'm also fairly happy with.

Therefore I am asking for your opinions on the matter, which one should I go with?

Hmm. I believe the first one looks more clean, though that may be due to the fact that it has been saved, while the 2nd is a screengrab. The 2nd one also shows more character, but I don't really like how the strokes are touching there in some places (The F & A for example).Though I think your avatar wouldn't fit that well so it would need a refresh. You should refrain from changing so often, which you do.

One of the downsides of being a designer, unfortunately. I just see things that could be improved.

Understandable, lol. It's not bad, but it can be confusing. As long as you keep it kinda similar you should be fine. I remember then you changed your theme one time and I did not recognize it as you for quite a while.

Oh lord. I know what you mean Im such a huge critic of my own work lol.

I love the first one, it stood out between the two instantly when I clicked the thread.
 
I personally prefer the second one.
It's a lot cleaner and less likely to draw away attention from your video thumbnails.
To me, the first banner is quite dark and there's a little too much going on.

Something clean and simple is always my way about things :)

I agree, I personally prefer clean and simple which is why I decided to make a new one. This is actually a new design I'm working with at the moment, what do you think?

Im so jealous of how clean this comes out for you. If I tried to do this for my channel it would look no where neat as simple and clean.
