HELP! Black Screen In Sony Vegas Pro 11.

Hey guys,
So I recently got Sony Vegas Pro 11, and I have tried editing a video with it.
However, for some reason there is no video and only sound, and there is a black screen in the preview.
Is there any way to fix this??

There is a fix for such thing In vegas go to properties of your video (in editor space), general tab, identify your plug in - something like compoundplug.dll. Close vegas, go to directory where vegas is installed, usually c/program files/sony/sony vegas/FileIO Plug-ins - find your plug in there (compoundplug), edit name of the folder, add an extra letter or something, save modified name. Launch back sony vegas with your project that was green/black, it should work fine now.
As an extra advise, have a quick time player installed on pc. Do not use separate codec packs, this messes up sony vegas. Also if your camera you record with came with cd with some software on it install it too.
