Having opinions on youtube

I Love YTtalk
I kkkind of feel like if I have any strong opinions on YouTube might be a bad thing.. At least, for a YouTuber,
I feel like if I get a bigger audience, I might be judged for some of my views, for example, if I say that i'm pro-gay and pro-trans would I loose a tonne of viewers that are homophobic and transphobic, or are people not really that picky,
or something slightly different, if I say I'm Pro-choice, would that drive a wider range or people away from my channel?
is it worth sharing opinions? at the same time, I don't really want the horrible kind of homophobic butts to be watching my videos anyway! :P

anyway, opinions on having opinions??
 
I say it's worth sharing your opinions definitely! Do you really want those homophobic people on your channel anyway? Sharing your opinions will bring you closer to your audience so they have something to relate to you, if you didn't say that you were pro-gay and maybe someone gay comments on your video maybe a homophobic viewer will bully them and then that will start a huge uproar in the comments and we dont want that :) So I say share your opinions so you achieve the best audience :)

Yeeees... I don't have many opportunities to just share my oppinions, but I do share them o other videos like.. Buzzfeed videos? I guess? I posted one on a video about trans people and people flipped tables so hard
And other people flipped tables back at them
I have accumulated almost 450 likes. It's time to run for President.
 
It's your channel so don't let anyone else dictate what you can and can't say. People have the choice to watch or not watch your videos. Some people are mature enough to have a difference of opinion and not have it mean the end of the world. Most people though, not so much :D I know you wouldn't want to be associated with someone who makes derogatory comments, whether they agree with you or not. But yea saying "seemingly" uncontroversial things tend to get you into hot water pretty quick. SHARE! :D

Its kinda terrifying the idea that one day you can say one opinion and it would all come crashing down. I word things carefully that I say on sensitive topics and I leave a lot of the things I did as a young teenager off my channel in case people start shouting at me that I'm a bad influence :')
