Hating On Other Niches

Well I do somewhat understand why they hate on some niches, and I guess the reason why is some niches are harder than other niches, and I kind of agree with that since some niches would take a lot of planning and filming to produce while others are just pick up a camera and film this without much thought. People complain because they want to have it "easy" too, but find it hard to maybe start the same "easy" niche that the others are doing.

But eh, I never really heard of anyone openly complaining about other niches, lol.

As an animator i can answer this. Due to the huge influx of letsplays, livebloggers, reaction vids, reply girl, etc, youtube changed its algorithms and now the videos that get most cpm/listings/related are those that are 10 minutes +, have lots of uploads a day and the users watching cross link said videos.

If you are someone who makes quality content that takes time to do, this rate of lenght/upload is simply impossible unless you are backed by a major studio. So quality doesn't matter at all, it's purely quantity.

This sadly is making those of us with quality content that takes time to make loose out in cpm/links/related show ups, and thus earn less and less while everyone who keeps pumping out videos earn more and more.
