Yes. The dreaded hate comments. They might be harmful to your self esteem, BUT they clicked on your video. They gave you their time.
I see hate comments as a way of seeing that you're doing well! Why would anyone tell hate you for any other reason other than jealousy? It may hurt for a little bit but really, you win. It's a MAJOR WIN!

I got a hate comment today for the first time in like a year. I don't give a what. You shouldn't care either! You're doing what you enjoy doing, so what does it matter to you that one ignorant person says?

I just wanted to get that out of my system and share. I don't know why. Just take my words and embrace the hate. Have a nice day. *drops the mic*
 
Well hate comments usually squeeze me until I become angry! But yes you are right, we actually win when we get hate comment :)

I don't get real "Hate" comments, but people talk a lot of s**t on a few of my videos. I normally deflect it, ignore it, or say something funny in response. I only delete comments if they say something really horrible about somebody else in my video who can't defend themselves, if they say the worst things about me I accept them for the public to see lol

I've been lucky enough to not get a hate comment yet,most of the commenters on my videos are actually really kind people. I'm sure i'll get a hate comment eventually, I actually expect it, considering the type of content I produce.
 
I was once told that I was essentially an anti-biblical worm. It was in my discussion, but I have a feeling it was because of my "LGBTQ Rant" video where I said that I think being gay is ok, even though I'm Christian, and didn't think it was anti-biblical. So....yeah. Hate comments happen. Wear 'em like a badge of honor XD XD

This guy is doing it right. I've had hundreds of people tell me they've subscribed purely because they look forward to coming back and reading my responses to haters' comments some more. Clever and/or sarcastic responses to hate will always get you comment likes and you'll see, your channel will rally around you usually. It's fun to watch, especially for me, because my viewers aren't my subs...they're just random people who seem to hit and run, yet they still take time out to defend me from haters if I have a nice response or two up.
 
I'm really lucky that I rarely get 'hate' comments. But whenever I get 1 or 2 'dislikes' on a video, I genuinely get excited! It means someone actually cared enough about my video to press 'dislike'. My friends laugh at me, but for some odd reason, getting dislikes every now and again just makes me feel more interesting haha! Maybe I'm deluded :P
