Harassment?

While I am not saying that what she is doing is right, it isn't the same situation. I didn't watch the whole video but I didn't see her 'grabbing', I seen her poking and it was done in a playful manner. It wasn't amongst total strangers. Many people in the room knew her and seen what she was doing.

If I am correct, one man firmly expressed that it wasn't OK.

At the end of the day, the actual law and social justice on social media are 2 different things.

If Sam Pepper was to get arrested and questioned over these incidents, the likely hood is that there is no where near enough evidence to prove it. So in the eyes of the law, they would most likely see him as being innocent.

This is where my main issue with the situation is. Everyone on social media is screaming out for him to be locked away and sent to prison. Then they are all complaining that he hasn't been arrested yet. If they had a better understanding of how the law actually works, they might not be making such retarded comments.

The law is in place to protect people, sometimes it doesn't work, but it is still there for a reason. For instance, what if anyone of you was accused of rape in the same way that he was tomorrow. Then the video went viral on tumblr and hundreds of thousands of people who didn't know you were now screaming for your head on a plate and it actually turned out that you hadn't done anything. You would want it to go through the courts so you could prove your innocence.

These things shouldn't be handled on twitter or youtube, they should be handled in court.

Cuz apparently its alright for a girl to be touchy soon as man does it you get 5 years with community service and get called perverted :hilarious2: so messed up.
I don't wanna defend or bash anyone i just think things are not equal as they should be.

Love that you literally read nothing in this thread and came up with that. ":hilarious2:"[DOUBLEPOST=1411907459,1411907417][/DOUBLEPOST]

I do hope these rape accusations are being taken seriously by authorities though!

At this point the people who are coming forward need to actually report it, not just post videos on youtube. The fact that they are posting these videos and tumblr posts actually really damages their cases in court and I really don't think they realise this.

I did read what the creator of this thread said and replied. I can't help if you don't see common sense between what i said and what creator of this thread said. If you misunderstood me just cuz i said 5 years with community service then i was being sarcastic. I shall return back to eating my waffles now thank you very much.

I think @Stef was referring to the number of replies about the differences of the videos, especially one being how the video posted is a skit, while the other was presented as a "prank"[DOUBLEPOST=1411974037][/DOUBLEPOST]

Cases like this are nearly impossible to prove anyway, would be better to spread awareness about him. (at least in America its hard to prove)

Heres the thing. There are multiple videos uploaded to YouTube that are similar to Sam Peppers or maybe even worse. The reason why Sam got in so much trouble is he has a big audience and connections with big YouTubers. Once you get called out by Hank Green, Tyler Oakley, Fine Bros, Hannah Hart and Laci Green (just to name a few) it is over. The fans of those content creators even if they have never heard of Sam Pepper will watch his video and most likely think the same thing is their favorite YouTube I listed a few sentences above. That is how this whole mess got started. Sam has other videos where we handcuffs girls and won't let them go until they kiss him, he calls a girl an "instawhore" among other things. But those videos, hardly got any backlash compared to his "fake hand a** pinch" because he never got called out by "famous" YouTubers. Just my thoughts.[DOUBLEPOST=1412040808,1412040510][/DOUBLEPOST]

You have some good points. But there does seem to be proof. One girl had pictures of medical records and a few have screen shots of texts and facebook conversations with Sam and the dates, events, e-mails, and skype names match up with what they are claiming. It does not seem like these girls are just making stuff up.

I really do hope Sam gets smacked big time by the law because based on what I read and heard makes me sick. Not to mention his smug face is the type that I would deck too.

Sam isn't the only one. Veeyoneeye has been accused of statutory rape and admitted it. He's gone silent too. To be honest I didn't know who Veeyoneeye was until I saw this stuff on Twitter.
You guys have to realize that inappropriate behaviour has been going on for some time (from what I'm hearing) by a number of larger Youtubers with younger girls. The attention being brought to Sam and now Veeyoneeye will hopefully start to change the culture of people being able to get away from this behaviour.
