At the end of the day, the actual law and social justice on social media are 2 different things.
If Sam Pepper was to get arrested and questioned over these incidents, the likely hood is that there is no where near enough evidence to prove it. So in the eyes of the law, they would most likely see him as being innocent.
This is where my main issue with the situation is. Everyone on social media is screaming out for him to be locked away and sent to prison. Then they are all complaining that he hasn't been arrested yet. If they had a better understanding of how the law actually works, they might not be making such retarded comments.
The law is in place to protect people, sometimes it doesn't work, but it is still there for a reason. For instance, what if anyone of you was accused of rape in the same way that he was tomorrow. Then the video went viral on tumblr and hundreds of thousands of people who didn't know you were now screaming for your head on a plate and it actually turned out that you hadn't done anything. You would want it to go through the courts so you could prove your innocence.
These things shouldn't be handled on twitter or youtube, they should be handled in court.
