Could you help me please? I've been trying to get an official URL on YouTube but I have two different accounts on one email address. It won't let me set one up for the channel I plan to use. Does it matter? Would it access both?
 
If you want to set up an official URL, you have to go to advanced account settings.
I doesn't matter which account you use, but your URL will only go to one of your channels.

You have one email address and one Google account, what you have are two different channels. You can choose to remove one of them, or just pick one to use.
 
Not sure what you mean by "official URL" ? - Either way, I'll move this to the YouTube forum (site support is for YTtalk support :) )

It still isn't clear what you are trying to do. What do you mean by "official URL" ?

Is this the channel ? - https://www.youtube.com/user/stardreamwriter

If so, you already have a custom URL. You can't have another one. Michael mentions that in the video. That's why YouTube gives the warning to be careful when choosing it - because once you've chosen it, you cannot change it.

yes I became aware that I already had one I entered the wrong thing and did not realize that it was different because my account is old ish and I have selective memory issues
