Hi guys, im pretty new to youtube (only 1 month old) and love every aspect of creating my videos. I feel as if i'm doing pretty well with my channel considering it's only 1 month old and have 6 subscribers and over a 100 views but really would like some tips on:
  • growing my channel in the long run
  • good ways and places to network
  • any tips that you feel worked for you
  • suggestions on how to tag and make my videos more public
  • And any wisdom that you have to share with a newbie like me!!
It would be muchly appreciated and very helpful!
Click on this sentence and you'll be hyperlinked through to my channel, thanks for all the help!
Much love xox :wavespin:

being popular isn't that hard ive learned a lot the last month and wasnt even active here.
blackhat seo! but google doesn't accept that and if they find you they will delete your video ( they won't delete your account cus no one can prove's you gave the views/likes/comments/subs)
and no one wants to do illigal stuff on a good youtube channel so...

make a twitter/facebook and stay active
if you got some money make a good video with good keywords/tags and then buy some adsense views ( those are real views and google allows this cus its google adsense ;) )
man like sexy girls so wear something sexy while recording ( it will help your channel grow but i can understand you don't want to for some reasons )

forgett what i said below just saw your latest vid is in 1080 p
btw : 720 p is min resolution you should upload in , 480 p really doesnt look good on my 24 inch 1080p screen! i suggest to buy a 1080 p cam cus its a little bit future ready ( 4k is going to come but i think its gonna take around 5 years before its in payable computer screens)

Thankyou very much for the advice i'll take it all on board! It was all really good advice :)

Rule of thirds. I know this sound silly. Just watched trough some of you videos and whoever was is front of the camera, were in the middle. Might seem like the most normal thing to do, but try a new placement around 33% from left or 66% from left. This is making jumpcutting much more fun if you switch sides once in a while, and it gives a lot of other possibilities.

You're from UK I guess, and it's quite big compared to Denmark where I live. We got these small groups on Facebook where people can share their videos, get feedback. A community just like YTtalk. I think those groups really great and they've helped me a lot in getting my content out there, getting feedback and finding people with a common interest in video editing. I'm pretty sure you should be able to find something similar in the UK.

Keep up the great work. ;-)

For a network, for smaller channels you should try RPM, they are good :D

Consistent, quality content is key. Use the tips on these forums to improve the quality of your videos, and then make sure you release a video at least once a week, preferably on the same day each week.

@Anouskaisobell
Check each video you have and see if they have engagement from them.
By engagement, see if most of your videos gather at least 1+ subscriber/s.
If they do, you're moving forward so keep going and the next step would be to work on your SEO. :)
If they DON'T, then move on and think of another idea/video/content in order to gain those subscribers :)

Hope this helps!
