Graphical design help needed for new show!

Ok, I'm planning to launch a videogames-based show (Mostly reviews and retrospectives), that will be called VGP (Video Games Perspectives). I'm working on the graphics part right now, and I'd like to hear suggestions from other and more experienced people on YTTalk. You can see a sketch I made here (/channel/UCv0TSBsO6Xx9XWqXv3hJMhw). I'm more that sure that there is A LOT of space for improvements, though keep in mind I want to keep it as simple as possible.
What can I do to improve it?
