What does it mean when someone adds you on Google+ I don't understand it?

Do I have to add them back?

Is it rude if I don't add them back?

It's like following on twitter, and it's not, since most people don't really know who's added them and who didn't, plus all of those "add circles" (think facebook follower groups but are FORCED sort of).

Yeah its like following on Twitter and will see all of your 'public' post, but you can share only to say "Friends" or "Family" for more not public post.
