Google+ (Plus) Youtube Channel???

So yesterday I made a Youtube channel under the name of SizzlePopFry, and I followed all the normal procedures and everything to create the account with my Google Account, but then somehow it made a separate account for my channel with a Google Plus page and profile! When I made my personal channel for browsing use, it let me associate my Youtube account with my Gmail, I don't understand why SizzlePopFry is a Google + associated account now . Anybody else get this?

Try going into Youtube settings then Advanced (Which is under your avatar). Should be able to find some stuff there too help you

Hmm I've got this problem aswell. When I created my channel it was seperated from my youtube/google+ account. This is kinda weird and annoying though.

This happened to me as well. It is so frustrating. I honestly don't know how to separate them. I think that's just how it is from now on

This happened to pretty much all of the newer YouTube channels, and yes, I think Google is trying very hard to lump everything together..

- the ability to finally change your channel.name
- theG+ fan page dedicated to your channel where you can promote your stuff

You need to use a separate account and the management just gets more complicated. I want it associated with my Google Account, not another Google Plus account
