Good Retention?

Do you see an increase when only looking at audience retention from subscribers? Then you are really improving on video quality :)

Hmm~ audience retention from subscribers are somewhat consistent. I don't see any significant changes from them tho. With some anomalies on certain days because I noticed a subscriber from Denmark watches more than 100% of certain videos a few times. lol Very grateful for that subscriber and I hope I never lose him/her. XD

Like seriously that one time this happened (I said this in one past thread a week or so ago):

853% o.0 maybe he put your video on loop and forgot about it :p

My lowest is lower then 20 and highest is higher then 70.

I'm not sure if reaching a certain percentage is that important. The most important for me is to see it constantly growing :)

Retention for the podcast channel I co-hosted seems to be different. With me it stands at about 50-60%, without me it's... I think Maggie calculated it at 6%. :( Sucks.

So far, the retention rate for my gaming channel is about 55% and steady.

All of you make great points and have a way more in depth understanding of the metrics than I do. I was just looking at individual videos and on average they're pretty decent for retention but a few are really raising the average. The beauty of realizing that is I have follow up videos that tie into those few so hopefully the interest that is shown toward those will carry over. I was an intel analyst in the Marine Corps so my studying of numbers and that is good when I actually take the time to do it. Overall though I believe as a few of you have said, growth is most important since exponential growth equals views etc. etc. Thanks guys!

Before I rebranded my channel, my videos hovered around 50 percent. I have upgraded my equipment, and it seems the videos have improved significantly with quality. The average is around 70 percent.

Wow...that's great news. I just got my lighting and mic setup so I'm hoping that will boost quality and hopefully views and retention will go hand in hand
