Good mid price cameras

Hey so I was about to fully start my channel but I have realized the camera I let my sister take to uni with her was in fact the only decent one in the house:/ I was wondering what everyone else uses to film their videos. I was debating using my old Iphone 5s but it wont turn on so that idea is down the drain.

For just starting off compact digital cameras work just fine
They come in all different prices
And if you ever do upgrade to a better camera for sit down Vlogs you can keep thew old camera for daily vlog style videos

Canon G7x is about $300 more than a GoPro 4 but it has a "selfie" mode, which I think is worth it. Plus it shoots on SD, not GoPro MicroSD. And it's way steadier
