Good Microphones?

I've Got It
Hey everyone,

Small channel so will probably wait for a little growth before I invest in a microphone but I was wondering which I should go for? I want voice quality rather than ability to voicechange or anything like that, I don't want to sound like an elf if my normal voice has the quality of an elf trapped in the speakers! :P

Obviously money is a factor, I can't smash out 400 quid for a microphone, but maybe 100 or 150 hopefully if I get a job before the next calender year (here's hoping!)

I currently have a turtlebeach PX22, not great but not bad at all, I'm happy to continue with the TB but I do want to step up eventually from a headset mic.

I currently use a blue snowball ice its a great mic my voice is clear in all of my videos I got mine for £50 from amazon :)
 
I used the Snowball ICE for a while, but now I use the Blue Yeti. It's better quality than the Snowball, and it has a lot of control over the sound levels of it. The Yeti is about $100 on Amazon, but it is probably the best quality microphone you can find for YouTube.
 
Usually you can find a Samson C0u1 at around $50-70 on Amazon (The mic I use for my Lets Plays) or you can pick up a Blue Yeti at around $100-125. Eventually, I will purchase the Blue Yeti (Because of the quality), but as of now, I have to settle with what I have.
 
It depends on your camera of course, but you should look into the Rode Videomic Pro, it's about £130 online, and has a high pass filter, -10, 0 and +20dB settings, so it's not a bad microphone.
 
Thanks everyone for your suggestions! MadeofFame I don't really understand what you mean with the decibel levels, could you explain?
