Hi guys, I just created a gaming channel! but I haven't got any videos up yet, as I need a decent microphone!
I've been looking everywhere! amazon, ebay, Argos....blah blah blah! I'm trying to find a decent microphone that isn't to expensive! I'm looking to spend up to £40.00 no higher! Can anybody help me?

By the way, I have lots of headphones with a microphone but for some reason they ain't so good, please help! oh and I'd be extra happy if the microphone is pink ;) thanks.

A bit above what you wish to pay, but it pretty much worth it. The one I have is fantastic.

Really, you should expect to pay quite a bit for microphones if you need quality.

This one has pretty decent reviews.

Just have a look around. See what is best for you, but I do recommend the snowball.

I know, I'm looking for one just to do me for now until I save up for a really good one. (if that makes sense) :P I like the look of the snowball microphone! Thanks for your help! =)

Hey no problem. But since that snowball is only about £1o over ya budget, I'd say hold off until you have the right amount. Because you won't really have to get another microphone again. It is a really good microphone... And I sound like a human advertisement...

Consider a long term investment :D

I have a Blue Snowball, and I can say that it has very good sound quality, and should be fine unless you are looking to do studio quality recordings (so like professional music recordings, radio podcasts, etc.). I would suggest downloading a free program called Audacity to record your audio, and then doing some Noise Removal on your audio clip to get the very most out of the microphone.

Hope it all goes well!

Samson C01U... It's probably the best value for money (£50 ish)
I think the next thing up is a blue spark.. (£150 ish)

You'll need a mic stand with either as they need to be near your face, otherwise it'll sound a bit crap.
