Good Mic. for commentaries/tutorials

ATR2100 is pretty cheap, and it's definitely good for it's price. I believe you can get it on Amazon for like $40.

I do tutorials / lessons and I use the Samson "Go mic" which wasn't too expensive and I've been more than happy with it :)

I use an AT-2020, but I got mine or some good discount, I'd suggest a snowball, it's cheap and easy to use :D Professional quality as well.

Don't get the Blue Snowball. Got it. Hated it. Trashed it.

We now use the "Samson USB Studio Condenser Microphone" for our videos and find much better results from it!

Yeah, I got the Snowball before too, wasn't happy with it either. It's just that it picked up waaay too much background noise... It's kind of hard to use a mic like that when it picks up everything upstairs.

Exactly. I think a lot of "first timers" make the mistake of glorifying the Blue Snowball, then make the even bigger mistake of actually purchasing it. It's mediocre at best, and picks up every single bit of BG noise.

We use our Samson with a shock mount, boom arm, and pop filter. Something we couldn't have done with the Blue Crapball. xD

Also, who did your background? It looks amazing.

Hmm, our channel banner? I whipped it up for us about a month ago~ Thanks for the compliment. xD
