Well I'm at 47 and I got some support on my VLOG, I was instantly motivated to work harder on my videos.

I'm imitating famous YouTubers intros at 100 subscribers!

I'm not sure if it gets easier to get subscribers after 100 but I would like to find out some day.
 
Im at 78 - ive not made videos over the Christmas period, yet I've had some new people subscribe over this stagnant period which feels great.
 
Getting your first few subs is hard on its own. 10. 100. 1000. 100,000. But when you get 1000, theoretically, its easier to get 10 more, and when you get 100,000 subs, 1,000 is easy. (Theoretically. If you post consistently)
 
Hello I'm new here and I just wanted to say I got 21 subs and it took a long time. I promote my channel and try to post as frequent as I can. I believe the subs come after you get yourself out there and people pass the word about your channel. It also can depend on the content and collaboration videos too.

That is what I believe... I will keep posting videos and promoting to see if it does grow eventually. No matter how long it takes I won't quit!

The first 100 is very motivating. I'm not sure that it picks up after that by an appreciable amount...I think there is a tipping point, but I have pretty much fought for every subscriber and I'm trying to get to 1,000 by the end of January. I think a big boost can come all at once if you happen to have a viral or controversial video, or if you have a lot of shareable content.
