Getting the word out there

So i have been wondering about how you guys gets the word of you out there? Do you just let it roll by it self or what?

My big 2 are Twitter & Google+ (circles & communities) ... after that .. primarily Blog followers, Scoop.it, Facebook, StumbleUpon

I write my channel name on cakes and then throw them at people's front doors.

I use a lot of my friends on FaceBook to plug it, whether that be on their Band Pages, their own FaceBook pages, or Groups they're in. I usually let it roll for the first day it's out, then after that I share it out

It's okay. There are a lot of rules involved and it costs too much money.
