Getting subscribers, and earning money.

Hey everyone!

I finally have my YouTube channel up and running. I have 4 videos and upload twice a week. I currently have 23 subscribers within the past two weeks, and they're pretty much people I know. All of my videos are monetized as well. I was wondering, how can I get more subscribers, and more people to spread the news about my channel? Also, how can I really start earning money with monetization? I know I've just started, but being an ambitious person makes me want to progress faster. Does anyone have any tips?

I would say find other channels to collab with. Become friends with a lot of people on here and on youtube. Upload good consistent content on a daily basis.
At this point in the game for gamers, it's about catching that lucky break. Maybe a big youtuber will notice you. Who knows.
Also flaunt the fact that you're a female gamer. That'll make you stand out. If you're confident enough to be on camera, do that too. Any little bit helps.

Also, having an interesting, dynamic voice will keep viewers hooked for longer, allowing them the see more of your content and have the chance to share it with their friends.

Change your mindset right now or your channel won't make it until next month !
Getting a fanbase take time, you will not be awesome at the first video either !
So calm down, take your time, this will be a long journey, enjoy every bit of it !

I would agree here--being ambitious is awesome and great and wonderful... but deciding you want to make a lot of money right off the bat is not a good mindset for going into YouTube.

If you really want to make more money, the answer is simple--get more views. More views=more people seeing your ads=more money. But the goal of having a YouTube channel is to have fun. So stop thinking about money right now and decide whether or not you're actually having fun making the videos. :)

Turn down your game volume and step up your commentary. I watched you fifa video and it is not something I would watch again. I couldn't understand a word you were saying but even worse it sounded like you were bored.

I do enjoy making the videos, but the only issue I'm getting fed up with is having to record my voice after recording my games. I really want to get a headset for my ps4 where the mic is closer to my mouth and I don't have to force myself to talk louder. When I have to force myself to do that it just gets annoying which causes me to not want to do it. At first I wasn't going to record my voice at all, but then I just decided to do it. Doing a voice over takes the fun out of the videos when in reality I just want people who view them to hear my initial reaction as I'm playing my game. I feel like the videos will be better if that was the case.

I found post commentary to be difficult myself. Don't get me wrong now I am not amazing at commentary and have a long ways to go myself, but you have to step that up if you want to get bigger. Talking to your audience is a big deal. People can watch any fifa video out there. You have a long road ahead of you anyways but real long if you want to make money as soon as possible and you hate doing commentary.

I just don't like doing the post commentary. I tried doing commentary while playing games, and I had more fun with it because I can actually comment on the game, and really be myself. I really do appreciate your advice though :)

Live commentary is way more fun I think. I agree with that. I chose not to go that route because my videos ended up being 45 minutes long and I was unable to work out a way to edit it so it still sounded normal. Just pick it p one way or another and put any thoughts of making money aside for now.
