Well lets talk about what's actually probably happening here. First off, when it comes to gaming , especially when playing a competitive game, the competitiveness continues out of the game and into the videos. If someone so much as just thinks they play better than you, or you made a decision different to what they think you should of made in a clip, they will dislike, because this is the kind of person you see in game that calls everyone ''noob'' or ''bad'',and probably has homework they should be doing. But they think you are not qualified to be playing the game unless you play it perfectly or they might even think that you yourself think you're ''pro'' for uploading a montage etc.
Alot of that behavior comes from kids. They're the ones that care way too much about the raw stats, numbers, reputations, criticisms, collective forum opinions on who is best, and how badass and cool they need to look with their public image.
we could say ignore it since its just 1 thumbs down and the ''interaction helps'', but the reality is:
The thumbs down shouldn't bother you after knowing where its coming from,
it should bother you because the interaction of 1 thumbs down doesn't help enough in relation to the possible cut in view time you may receive from later spectators now assuming the video is bad, and clicking off for a better reviewed option after seeing the rating.
Being a small channel is hard.
People like that get excited when their single interaction leaves a noticeable mark.
But you gotta do what you gotta do and it helps to be able to view and critique the quality of your work to see if something truly went wrong,
or if your work was legit and it was just a hater trying to ruin your day.
