gaming?

Rush

The most British Australian guy ever.
So I'm thinking about beginning a gaming channel, so to all you hardcore gamers out there, should I buy

A. A Mac for editing and a Ps4/Xbox 1 and capture card thing.

Or

B. A very good dell pc or Alienware?

I am leaning to option a but I'd like a second opinion

I've heard that you pay lots of money just for the brand name (Alienware)
I'd rather spend the money on a better computer, instead of the name Alienware.

And I hate the layout for Macs. They're so confusing if you are used to Windows.

A custom built windows PC for editing and a Ps4/Xbox 1 and capture card thing.
Unless all the games you want also comes out for PC, then you don't need the PS4/XBOX One :D
Sadly, though, games that are also on consoles gets gimped on PC *cough*Ubisoft*cough*

A few of my friends have Alienware and they are so good to play, I also agree about the Mac but they add a bit of professionalism to your videos, also a friend of mine edits on his Mac and he is going good with it , but I do agree, it's a silly layout on the Mac

They can still be good, but you can get an equally good computer for less money if you custom build it :P
I'm not sure if it gets more professional if you are editing on a Mac contra Windows.
That all comes down to the skill of the editor, and the editing software you are using.

As a Mac user myself, I'd say the editing software most people use on it, Adobe Premier, is available on PC anyway. So I'd say get a custom built PC for editing and PS4/Xbox One with an Elgato Game Capture HD recording thingy mabob (extremely easy to record with on PS4)

Dont get an alienware for the love of god. Over prices piles of dog turd. Macs are good for editing but you can build a custom built PC that would be amazing and be able to play any game on pc for around £500-750 - which is less then a mac (going by the last time i checked prices) so, option b for me.
