Gaming videos must have commentary over them???

Unknown_user0001

I Love YTtalk
I am not sure but I got denied by Socialblade a 2nd time for this reason. I have 1 or 2 videos without any commentary. There are a few where I speak for some of the gameplay and others where others speak. What are the full rules on this?

Game footage is copyrighted content :( So if ya upload it without commentary u get a copyright strike :( I refommend yu to redo those vids with fommentary or just delete them :) Redo is more fun xD

Would this be acceptable???
A video is made up of 2 types of content audio and visual, when your unpartnered you don`t have the rights to the visual in most games, but YouTube will look the other way if you provide a full audio commentary over the video, not just a bit of it. When you join a network, they will usually provide the licenses needed to allow you to legally own the rights to the visual content aswell, although for it to be fully acceptable It will still also need commentary.

Hola friend, I'll give some tips "some I recently learned" hopefully they will help you. Also, SUB 4 EVERYONE!!!!!! "sub 4 sub I am subbing everyone"

Alright, before you do a commentary make sure you know what you want to talk about "Why are Oreo's so Good?" Next, make sure you relate it to the gameplay in some way, because honestly, when people just talk about random stuff it is annoying unless they are a big youtuber already and then it acts like a vlog. You could relate Oreos by saying "Oreos are good because of the design not as much as what the ingredients are" then say how Call of Duty is good not because of its content but because of its design and that is why they hardly change it. Add in some fun facts like "Oreo has not changed its design in over 100 years" things like that. Give your commentary body.

Next on the voice, slur less. I know accents can be important, but you should focus on clarity. When you talk, animate your face completely maybe even move your body as you talk to really emphasis what you are saying. Talk through the whole video as well.

Try and use different voices as you speak through a video. High, low, loud, soft, raspy, thin, create a character of yourself.

Next the actual footage, a ton of gameplay videos "EVEN WITH COMMENTARY" will be denied for monetization, it just depends on if they feel like pulling it "they as in the publisher of the games"

I would suggest you showing either really lucky footage, really skillful footage, or very relevant footage to what you are discussing. If it is mundane in every category, then fudge it and get a better recording.

I am subbing by the way and I am the founder of a new community called the Gaming Youtube Community which you can find at this link: https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities/117175887396679105220

Here we share videos and like/subscribe to each other and talk about stuff and every so often I will give away beta codes and free games etc. New thing so invite friends!

I should try and take my own advice and produce better commentary videos. If you are interested in a commentary that I did that got a good amount of views, here is one:
I get paid to post to this channel this is not my personal channel. : )

As a partner with a network they don`t, of course they do as a half-partner by putting it up for monetization you`ve just showed YouTube a video in which you do not have full rights to...

Well I guess I will silent all my gameplay with commentary.

They won't complain about picture right?

God it is a nightmare for gamers, this is my 2nd restart.[DOUBLEPOST=1358378203,1358376857][/DOUBLEPOST]This is confusing me :S So if I speak in my gameplay I should be fine?

I don't get it :S
