Gameplays and copyright

I was trying to do w let's play of zelda ocarina of time and kept losing connection for my youtube live stream, got an error one time saying it's going to terminate my live stream and theni tried twitch and exported it to youtube which got a copyright notice. .

Even though they are notices, is it bad I deleted the video... it doesn't seem that I have copyright strikes, or do 8? How can I tell if I have one strike? It says my account is in good standing but want to make sure my account is safe.

It's usually the MUSIC or CUTSCENES that screws over some people, and the notice you mentioned was a content claim, which goes away if you delete the video or the content holder releases the claim.

Moved to Copyright, Claims, Strikes & Legal Discussion. Where you talking on the video? Cause sometimes if you don't talk over it you can get claims.

Yeah, I talk in the videos (except for the testing one that I exported to youtube)... Maybe my volume is too low and you can hear more of the music than my voice so youtube detects the music more and then does a copyright claim? I would think maybe that's the reason?

It kept crashing during the live recording maybe because of it, I don't know... Probably why so many use twitch but in a sense I kinda like youtube over twitch cause I get more viewers from my subscribers and I'm able to insert ads whiles playing....

I ask because I upload The Legend of Zelda gameplay and since the volume of my game is lower than my voice I haven't gotten any claim or strike in the almost 2 years of my channel.

Nintendo currently claims all material that automatches in ContentID. They aren't handing out copyright strikes, just taking away monetization.

Nintendo recently now lets you share in revenue with their games but you have to contact them first to set it up.
