Funny hate comment story

So Grace Helbig did a video a few weeks back called How to Handle Haters. It was typical Grace humor--stuff like "agree" and "kill them with kindness." Anyway, I left a comment at the time. Just today, someone left me a hate comment on my comment. This was my first hate comment on YouTube, so naturally I am super excited even though the comment wasn't directed at my channel.

I love the irony of leaving a hate comment in the context of THIS video. The comment was "no you just count as a mindless idiot, as most of her followers are, shallow girls and mindless idiots. cheers."

Of course I replied "Totally agree. I actually wanted to be a shallow girl but had to settle for mindless idiot. Thanks for commenting! Oh, and please check out my channel when you get a chance!"

I am sure I will eventually receive hate on my own channel. We all know at YTTalk that hitting milestones takes time. Until then, at least I have this!

I never understood haters. To take time out your day to comment on something you don't like makes no sense. And sometimes I've seen the haters seem to know a lot about the person/thing they hate and even more mindless then the fans.

I remember someone telling me I spelt Colours wrong. So I said, "oh Colours is spelt like that in the UK" and I got someone else commenting calling me ignorant because it's spelt that way in canada too.

That's what I don't care for on YouTube, those trolls who find it entertaining to fill a comments section of a video with their own flame wars with other people, without any relevance to the video, ultimately.
