Friends thanks to Youtube

The last thing I thought when I started making videos, was to make friends because of my channel. The creative process for me is something solitary, but now it seems to me that Youtube can make you connect with people that watch your content even if you don't necessarily collaborate. I'm so happy to have my content out there even though I get only 20 views, because I know I have 2 or 3 loyal subscribers that always support me. They don't know who I am, where I live... not even my face, but they like my music and I'm happy to have it there for them to use it freely.
Have you met new friends on Youtube?

Yeah, you could say that. Making friends on youtube is a great thing!
People like you, who are true to what they do, will make it for sure one day! Just keep doing what you do, also giving you a few tips. Do you advertise your content. It's really important as of the new monetization rules. This way you will be sure to reach that 1k subs and 4k hours watch time by the end of these 12months. And being active on the social media will also bring in new friends, just like using this forum here : )

IMHO it's big reason why I keep making videos :D of course not the only one, but this was an unexpected surprise. This forum is awesome too. No trolls, no toxic posts... I didn't know that such a place existed on internet

Yeah, I have, both other creators and the viewers c:
It's nice to have someone to chat to, who has same kind of interests as well as keeps you motivated all the time.
YT related topics all day long? I'm in :laugh2:

That's great. Are you on Instagram too! That is a great platform for that esp with location tagging.

I've made a couple YouTube friends which also led to me being on a few podcasts. All things that I never expected to happen. One other side benefit to that is that when I record my videos even though it's just me and my camera, I no longer feel like I'm just alone talking to a camera.

Yeah, I've met a couple of cool friends on Youtube and thanks to Youtube. We sometimes chat about non-Youtube related things too. This kinda thing is what makes Youtube fun besides just making the videos in general.
