Trying to sound like Freedom's 40% replaces the 45% Google take rather than what actually happens which is you get 60% of the 55% they get from Google..

Also is he trying to say that Adsense may be skimming earnings or that it is a network itself..

that'a correct. You never see your overall revenue, just the revenue after youtube has already taken their cut. That's the revenue amount that Adsense or your network gets, and then they will take out their cut. So after youtubes cut, Adsense will take 35 to 40 percent of what you have left, while Freedom, with this special offer, will only take 5%. So if you decide to take advantage of this opportunity with Freedom, you'll be making around 30 more cents per dollar you earn after YouTube's cut than you are earning now with AdSense.

Google always takes 45%.

If there's a network involved who takes say 25% then they payout 75% of the 55% that Google gave them.

Wow so freedom is telling lies like this? Obviously the lead recruiters have no idea how YouTube actually works or they are willingly spreading lies on here and possibly to everyone freedom contacts.

First of all adsense takes their cut out of everyone even freedom partners or partners with any network for that matter. This happens before the networks receive their payment. And then your network further cuts that down.

Perhaps they should really do research and not drink freedoms koolaid before they message people spreading bad info. Also if that is in fact what freedom is sending people it very well could land them in serious trouble with YouTube directly.

And guess what, you just put it out there.

I have to agree. Whoever you've spoken too simply doesn't understand how YouTube partnerships in relation to AdSense works. Keep in mind that with an open ended referral program, there are probably dozens of people misrepresenting the MCN and should probably be locked down more.

But, you'll soon get this from other MCN's as well. Freedom offers anyone to refer other YouTubers to the network which means you'll most likely get a lot of people trying to act like they know what they're talking about, or explaining what their MCN can offer when in theory they are simply not educated enough or should most likely do their own research.

Doing your own research is actually probably a great idea for a lot of you here as well. I understand that allowing everyone to become a referral is a bad idea, but it's also not smart to assume that every referral is a well educated representative of their network, nor should their words be taken as fact when it comes actually representing whether or not the network is actually a good option. I can easily see how this can be a deterrent though for most YouTubers who would receive a message such as this.

At the end of the day, you wouldn't see a staff member representing their MCN this way, so unless it comes from someone who is actually enrolled and a paid acquisition staff member, I would usually take it with a grain of salt.

None the less, whoever did send you this message did an extremely poor job representing their network.

EDIT: I know a few people who work with Freedom. I'm going to do some investigation into this Chris Freedman and get some more information on how long he's been representing the company, because clearly it doesn't seem like he's been outreaching to clients for very long.

Ad Performance > gross earnings is your revenue before Google's cut.
Estimated earnings is your revenue after Google's cut.
Estimated earnings * 0.75 would be your cut.

So I know there are multiple threads but honestly a lot of them are old or out of date and really I don't have an interest to join freedom at all (more of a cure/UOG network person) but I am just curious what people have to say about this network. Because some of these messages this guy is sending me is kind of funny tbh, and he also removed a few but basically this is what he was trying to sell me in the beginning, 60% rev cut (I know this is very low and he claimed that this was basically ground breaking for networks and others can go lower) and then said that you could "win" a sponsorship to increase your rev cut to 90% and then possibly 110% for a month. He was also trying to sell the fact that they have a FREE MUSIC LIBRARY!!!!

and then the BIGGEST point he tried to throw at me was that there was no lock in contract. Which he then proved his referal link (he gets a 15% cut of the their earning from me if I join through that link) asking to just try it for a month and if I don't see an improvement I can leave. So a few messages later when I tell him none of this is ground breaking he messages me this

So if you could just post some experiences or things you know about this network because all I can get from it is that they still don't have a sales team so the cut wouldn't even matter, and they have good response times.

A channel your size should be getting an 85-90% rev share, and 60% for your size is certainly not competitive.

Well I can certainly tell you that the higher ups in freedom don't know what they are talking about or the guy i'm talking to has absolutely no clue what hes rambling on about most of the time, here's some examples.

I may go with Curse Network, but ya not even 60% is competitive with even the smallest channel XD I would love to see a network with 50/50 or 40/60

I would never recommend Curse. Go for a VN under Freedom for example.
