I would have to disagree here.
I find that game content creators are one of the hardest thing, since there is no middle ground.
So usually you either have the bottom of the barrel or really entertaining once, since a good game commentator can keep talking literally for hours on end, as well as engage the viewers into the game more or expand on the game itself even more.
I seen some LPers who did a phenomenal job at both entertaining, while giving credit to the game itself, by providing either facts or little bits of lore, which I never knew.

And on top of that, being genially entertaining for 20 minutes, during a boring section of the game and not going "so, today I was out with my dog...blablabla.." is incredibly hard.

One more thing, I rarely watch Minecraft content, except for Yogscast for example, but I have an enormous amount of respect for those people.
Because lets be honest, minecraft is a boring game to watch, and the folk who can make it engaging, with all the editing, scripting or just improve, kinda makes me slowly clap, for being able to pull it off.

Oh no I completly understand what you mean. I've just seen WAY too many 10 year olds playing Call of Duty in hopes of becoming the next Pewdiepie. But I know EVERYONE isn't like that. Just too many are to make up for it. But hey, do what you enjoy. I'm surely not going to stop you :)

But, I'll get off this subject now.

So if you could check out mine Fibula that'd be great.
 
It seems like YTTalk is loaded with giving out pity subs. I'm not saying that's what you're offering, but when I click on someone's channel from here and all their commenters are from the forum I go "uh oh".

As much as it is true that it seems on the surface that video game commentary is not "as creative" as filmmakers, all forms of content is hard to create. Each type of content has a specific skill that one needs. For film-makers its mostly your imagination to be able to create worlds or situations.

While Video game commentators are essentially presenting a tv show that is revolved around games. I know a lot of film-makers who can create massive worlds on screen, but they can't talk to people for :poop:.
Let's play commentators have to have the creativity and the skill to be funny, interesting and give creative commentary that can either make you laugh or make you think. Maybe even some life lesson's in there.

This is coming from someone who makes films on youtube and is wanting to enter the industry :-)

subbed, i like animators on youtube, it seems to be that unless you really know what you are doing you dont make this sort of content so all the cartoonists are really good :) ps i thought your real friends animation was really good ;)
