Woops! I completely forgot about thumbnails! Haha first time.
This is an area I think you need to work on, I believe. In my opinion, putting a screenshot of some gameplay is not really enough to attract the audience's attention these days. I actually posted a link about this earlier on this very thread, take some notes from that if you want and i look forward to your review :)[DOUBLEPOST=1395707473,1395707221][/DOUBLEPOST]
If you record in fullscreen, mqybe your exporting must be the issue. I use adobe premiere so I can't really help you here but look into different export options. Good luck!

thumbnails are something i definitely lack. time to freshen up them photoshop skilz i guess. thanks again
Doesn't have to be photoshop. I use PowerPoint myself XD. Check the link, it uses PowerPoint.

I would like a review please :) and I'll do one for you too XD (I'll post my review in a few)[DOUBLEPOST=1395708366,1395708049][/DOUBLEPOST]You have a good, clear voice. Good, attractive thumbnails. Banner is alright, although something that you created yourself or something photoshopped will be a bit better :)

And since you're reviewing video games, maybe try implementing some of the sounds from the game in your video instead of just background music.

Anyways, hope I helped, and I'm looking forward to your review of me!

[QUOTE="I'm sorry I don't quite seem to get you....So are my openings bad? You don't want to sub but you can't stop watching one of my vids? Sorry just some clarification would be nice. Otherwise thanks for the feedback!

And I'm sorry when I click your link, it says your channel doesn't exist? :S. Could you provide a link to the specific video you want reviewed?[/QUOTE]
no i mean the channel trailer the rest of it was fantastic and it is okay i have had to stop youtube proberblly as i just realised that i have my exams in like 2 weeks! Honestly if 100 people viewed your trailer you miight get 20 subs but if a hundred people viewed your videos you would get like high 90's

34 subscribers with only 3 vids? Impressive :P
Thanks for the review! Yeah, I'm not that particularly good with photoshop but I might try adding some more info to my banner. And yeah again, you're right, I do need to add a bit more audio of the games that I review. I'll look into it. I appreciate the review. So here's yours!

1. Banner/logo
Your logo is fine. If I were you, I would put the text more toward the left because it's right orientation does not really fit well centred, in my opinion. You banner is nice too, but your first name is cut off. Fix that up and your good to go.

2. Thumbnail/s
I can see you've improved on your thumbnails compared to your past ones. In my opinion, I think you should use lighter, more brighter colours for your text so it appears more readable and catches the audience's eye a bit more. Otherwise keep up the quality of your latest one.

3. Audio
You're audio is great. I can understand you perfectly and the emotions conveys nicely.

4. Video/s (concept,editing,etc)
Your editing is quite good, you add cuts and edits that relate to the video and there is a certain flow to it all too. You should take inspiration from rayjohnson and other v-loggers on how they edit. Often they do cuts in which they sit to the right or left of the screen. Also, I noticed, you use the exact same font/colour for your text/numbers. Mix it up a bit. Try out diff fonts/sizes/orientations, etc. This can further engage the audience and add more impact to what you're saying. And perhaps you can look into some more updated outros or a set format that would make it easier for you, editing wise.

5. Summary
You are genuinely pretty funny, and talk about relevant events in life too. You really need to take inspiration from others tho, to really expand your channel here. Good luck and I look forward to future interactions :P[DOUBLEPOST=1395755037][/DOUBLEPOST]
Could use a review, thank you, I promise I will look at your channel :)
1. Banner/logo
You logo/banner is really about preference. You can choose to be informative or you can choose to be artistic or whatever. I chose artistic as you seem to have. Your call for that one. Your banner, though, could probably use a different coloured background as black is a little too bland for my taste, just my opinion.

2. Thumbnail/s
Aside from some of your v-log type stuff, your thumbnails are quite good. You do however, use the same font and colour for your text. Try experimenting with diff orientations/colour/size/font etc. This would make your videos more eye-catching. But otherwise keep finding good abstract pics like your south park vid. And keep it up!

3. Audio
Audio quality is fine. Though, in your some of your videos, your ambient background/game audio is a little louder than your voiceover. Try toning it down or increase the sound of yours. But this isn't in all your vids, so you should be fine here.

4. Video/s (concept,editing,etc)
For this I'll look at your titanfall review. You have the editing pretty much down. You can transition from straight gameplay + audio to your voiceover very smoothly and it sounds and looks great. Take a look at other reviewers for inspiration here. Some advice, I don't think you should put any footage of you dieing too much.

Your outro on the other hand (your latest vid) seems a little all over the place. I don't think there's much point in putting your logo since it's already a watermark on the top right anyway. And overall, just try to improve the overall look of it. I put up a thread on better thumbnails here, perhaps try taking some of the innovation there (and thru other ppls outros) and applying it to your outro.

5. Summary
Otherwise, I think you just need to keep doing what you're doing, and fine tune as you go. Good luck and I look forward to your review of mine :)

Thanks for the review!

I did enjoy your channel, think you have great content on here, enjoyed the titanfall video. :) I think keep doing what you're doing and you will see a lot of growth quite soon. Good work!

Hi! :) Can I get a review please?
Hi, I'm not exactly an expert at v-log stuff, but I'll do my best. :)

1. Banner/logo
Your banner is up to you really. Portrait photos are pretty common for the video format you present. Though, it is pretty difficult to read the text in it. Your banner is actually quite nice, simple but eyecatching. Try experimenting with other backgrounds though rather than one monotone colour.

2. Thumbnail/s
Your recent thumbnail is quite smart actually. Very well presented. Keep and maintain that quality and you will excel.

3. Audio
I think your audio is pretty good as well, as I can hear you pretty clearly most of the time. Be sure you've set your microphone properly to 'mono' though so it records just one voice as it sounds like it's in stereo (2) in my opinion.

4. Video/s (concept,editing,etc)
There's not that much editing needed for the format of your videos. You could try thinking about adding dynamic texts throughout your video that relate to what you're saying. As well as a possible outro/intro. Something simple, e.g. social links.

5. Summary
Overall, an ambitious start, pay attention to way more established v-log channels are doing it and learn from them! Good luck and review mine if you can!
