I am downloading it now to see what its like, I havent tried it before or heard of it but will report back 
[DOUBLEPOST=1350519805][/DOUBLEPOST]Okay so I have downloaded the files I think I need and installed them but its not running at all for me, the installation process has me confused here so if anyone knows how please post it up, all I have is Jahplayer and CinePlay here and only CinePlay will load. It does say on the site for it that 3.0 is coming soon.

That project was abandoned about 5 years ago, so it's dated and the interface was really hard to get used to. Try Lightworks or even Blender if you're looking for something free and up to date.

That explains my issues, I see now on their site it mentions re-launching it.

I downloaded Lightworks last night. I am in the process of watching the tutorials on YouTube. It has been 10 years since I messed with software such as this lol. I will say WLMM is easy to use....just doesn't have the options I want
