Fred is back?

I'm not sure if you've seen the video but today he uploaded a video announcing he will be making more Fred videos...I'm not sure what to think about this yet. I wasn't a huge fan before although he was apart of the old youtube, I just hope he keeps it real the way the old ones were, he really lost the style after he made his movie and got all professional, sometimes videos are supposed to be amateur looking for the style :P

I suppose youtube has moved on since then so maybe classic amateur videos aren't going to go down as well as they did in 2008/9/whenever (or whenever it was) What are your thoughts on this?
 
Now that he's older I don't think it's going to work. As a young kid it works but he's starting to get to that "iffy" stage. I personally won't watch xD
 
I wasn't particulary a fan the first time around but I thought it was a good concept and I could appreciate the effort that went into it.

But now that he has moved on and done other stuff including that other channel with that girl, plus the movie etc, not to mention grown up and is now an adult, yeah it does some weird that he's reincarnating the Fred character. It does sort of look like he's taking a step backwards and scraping the barrel a little bit. I wonder is he trying to appeal to a new audience or just trying to get some more views from the previous viewers? :unsure:
 
Fred was the first youtube show that I saw and I actually liked.
He got me into Youtube in the first place.
But everything has to come to an end. I'll give it a try, but I don't think i'll like it tho.
 
I have nothing against the Fred character but I could do without a return at this point in time. He's doing so well with the Lucas & Jenny channel and, in my opinion, has successfully transitioned into a more mature YouTuber so him doing Fred videos would just seem regressive.
