Food Battle: The Fail

Games cost a lot to make, so I understand why they would need money to fund it.
Heck, if people would pay me to make a game, why should I bother using my own funds for it? :P

Well...even if they don't reach their goal of 250k...all of the donations..which is now at 170k will still go to towards the game, because it is a flexible campaign. As it says here: This campaign will receive all funds raised even if it does not reach its goal. Funding duration: July 21, 2013 - August 23, 2013 (11:59pm PT).
They might put in some money towards it, who knows. I think 250k is....a lot of amount of money to ask for. Let's just hope, that they actually do what they say they're going to do which is one: Make a game that's free and Two: Donate 10% to charity.

It's really not... To make a good app it would cost WAY more than that, and infact Toby Turner just raised over $600k on . And Video Game high School raised over $808k on theirs .

this is the issue this isn't a 3d game like toby's I can understand toby's situation here because yes the more you go into the 3d aspect the more it's going to be BUT smosh is NOT making a 3d game all this is going to be is a 2d scrolling game these are simplistic and easy to make it doesn't take $250,000 to make a side scrolling app. And yes I know they are hiring artist's and such but unless they are feeding their artist's $100 bills this game is not even going to be CLOSE to $250,000 that's a ridiculous amount for this I could even make this game I use to animate and such and plus adobe flash even supports app development in its newer versions lol and also going to katherine's post they only added this charity thing after they saw the backlash and even after that they put this 10% to charity on the bottom of their description and didn't even say anything about it in their video
