I started this youtube channel back in June/July of 2013, and I have to say, I'm a bit upset that it took this long, since I/we have been uploading content pretty regularly. Eh oh well we are over the first big hump, now lets break 1k.
 
You're in the (almost) exact same boat as me! I joined july 2013 also! Not quite at 100 subs, but well done! I know it can be offputting to not gt much subs but once you get past 100 it gets a lot easier, from what i've heard!

Again, Congrats! You deserve it!

Thanks! Yeah I don't quite understand what we have been doing wrong. I suppose my channel has an issue with getting the word out. We haven't been the best at advertising our content, and I haven't been able to find any useful information about sharing that has actually worked. I tried reddit for some time, but all that did was bring a ton of down votes to my videos, since the reddit community is generally rude.

I had no idea about any kind of advertising until I found this website...! I still have no idea other than this! None of my friends (apart from my family and one person) know about my youtube channel, I'd feel kind of embarrassed to say I've been on yt for 2 years and have got less than 100 subs.. I'll tell them when I get a bit bigger!
 
It can be a tough milestone to achieve, there are so many great ways to get known and most of them are on this site.
I see y'all talking about advertising yourself or "Promoting" check out a few posts in THIS section and you may get a better understanding of how the whole "game" works.
I hope I helped in some way and if I did let me know that way I can better my responses and such!
Anyway congratulations on 100 subs!
