Feeling Unpopular

Sorry you feel that way, Jamie! Perhaps since you've been doing it for a while, you maybe might want to shake things up to feel revitalized? For example, if you're a musician, maybe start doing some covers or something? Put some of your talents to use? Keep at it, and don't feel discouraged! :)

I've been doing my vlogs for the last 4 years now but sometimes I feel like no one is really watching them. I mean I got over 200 subs from 4 years work which I'm happy for but how do I feel like when I see another persons daily vlog who do the same stuff like me has more views then me?

I see some daily vlogs with the same situation of they're a gay couple, or single and nothing to do, but somehow they kind of get more subs and views then me... Kind of makes me question it sometimes. That also includes those who vlog like every other month or so, one video every 2-3 months and even they get more views and subs...

So how come I feel so, if honest, Unpopular?

Out of curiosity, how do you promote your channel?

By the way I watched your intro video & loved it! You've got a new sub to add to your 200 right here :)
 
Well if you are making content that audience is interested in, then you will get more popular, you can definitely put the videos of your own ideas, but I would suggest atleast 1 video per month where the people are searching for on YouTube! Then your subs will rise consistently! This is my personal opinion :D

I dont know actually, usually I post some vids via facebook or tumblr or even twitter. I do have an Instagram account to so I try to add in my channel name in the hashtags there too. Thanks for the sub[DOUBLEPOST=1436281491,1436281438][/DOUBLEPOST]

Thats the things mate after doing this for 4 years I couldnt see myself going from a daily vlog to monthlys lol I like the daily thing to be honest :/
 
I think, from experience watching others, if you're going to vlog daily you need to establish a pretty strong connection with people that make them interested in your daily life. Unfortunately by flicking on your channel I don't see anything that immediately makes me connect with your life, except daily vlog videos and I wouldn't even know where to start because there's so many! Maybe you can occasionally make something a little more personal where you can address people directly and let them get to know you? It might be a part of your vlogs already, but I feel without labelling them as that it kind of looks like a mammoth amount of videos to jump right into without knowing who you are.

Just my thoughts! Good luck!

True, I should do some sort of playlist for more personal things, but yeah I have talked about some things throughout the years lol
 
I think your channel trailer is fantastic in setting up why people should follow your day to day life actually! I'm living in Aberystwyth for another year so your sly dig at Wales' awful weather was appreciated, ha.

Maybe something like that that's more condensed and is designed to say 'THIS IS WHO I AM WATCH MY VLOGS' every now and then will help spice things up.
