Hi All

I would love to hear from you what you think about my you tube channel, i am still a newbie at this and dont have many subscribers or viewers yet, but so far i think i am doing well for my first 3 months.

I would love to hear feedback on every aspect of my channel from design and thumbnails design, am i writing good descriptions in my videos also if the titles are okay or if i should try and make them any better.

Any feedback is most welcomed

Here's my 1 minute review:
- your banner of the bar chart makes me think this is a maths/statistics channel
- I have no idea what those letters mean in the thumbnail - until you grow and get user recognition perhaps use something more personal, like your face or some adaptation there-of
- the self driving car thumbnail I think they call clickbait, with the girl in the bikini. I had a look at the video, I didn't see that girl in the bikini. If you're not meeting viewer expectations they might bounce out dropping your retention
- your voiceover in the video is calm, so it's a good watching experience. I really like the videos, so well done. I actually want to get the Samsuvg VR headset now after watching your video!
- try for a higher upload frequency, perhaps a video every 2-3 days to get traction
- I think you can use a longer, keyword rich description. Try to incorporate as many of your tags and long-tailed variations into a 2-3 paragraph description.

I will have a brain storm about changing the banner on the channel. i was going for a graph as this can be percived as a trend chart but maybe i was trying to be a bit to clever.

The clickbait was some advise from another youtuber who has a very high sub count and he mentioned that he gets more views when using a thumbnail like that compared to another thumbnail he has been experimenting and thats what he found.

I agree with the clickbait thumbnail, it would get more views. But watch your retention analytics for that video, YT values session times more than discrete views. For the high sub youtuber, it may work differently as that channel would have a high inventory and differnet traffic sources to balance out stats, but for a new channel there may be an adverse effect overall.

Here's My review:

Positive:
+Great editing for a channel of your size
+Nice calm voice that makes the video more enjoyable to watch
+Good long and lengthy description

Negative:
-Channel colors are not pleasing to the eye : You need to keep a simple channel art color with the text in one color and the background where the text is located in another color makes your channel look more organized and professional
-Thumbnail too crowded: Your thumbnails tend to get crowded and messy for the eye to see. And the colors and art design used in the thumbnail isn't helping you out too much.Keep it simple with a picture of your topic and a title in 1 color or 2.
-Audio makes you sound like a robot : either improve your audio in the videos or change the mic (if you can) but all in all the audio is decent for a channel of your size.
-Clickbate: While I have no problem with using clickbate titles and thumbnails from time to time, you need to know that there is a fine line between good clickbait and horribly bad clickbate. Your video on self driving cars shows a half naked woman who has no relevancy to the topic at hand. Maybe you could have made a thumbnail of a really futuristic and cool flying car that might have grasped the attention of more viewers than just horny 13 year old kids.
-Consistency: You have to keep in mind that for your channel to get bigger viewers should see consistent uploading from their potential subscribed-to channel. Try to make videos every week ,if that presents a challenge then try every 2 weeks or 3 or every month. Keep in mind that the longer time it takes you to upload the more of a quality video should be expected.


Overall channel grade : A not so good fruit salad/10

channel art i will make the text white and try and keep it simple
Thumbnails are to crowded.

I also just noticed that i cant spell, bit of a typo in the new channel art banner i uploaded.

No problem man just here to help. I too have a youtube channel that is quite small and is in need of feedback so i feel you. And the yeti will drastically improve the sound quality i see a lot of potential in your channel.

what is your opinion on the following channel banner ? is this better than the one i have on my channel already or worse i cant make up my mind if i like it or not.
