Fan Finder Video What is it how does it work. Copyright!?

Hey!
I've seen this option in the youtube channel settings, but I don't know how it works.
Basically I understand it as youtubes way of promoting your channel for free.
I haven't made a channel trailer kind of thing yet for it and I've avoided it because the terms you agree to are kind of scary.
I'm a gaming channel and it says you have to have full rights to the video you offer for copyright reasons.

So does anyone know how this works?
Is the copyright for this service very serious?
If I were to add short 1-3sec of game footage is that against the rules?

It says that it works mainly for bigger channels, so I don't worry about it.

If I remember correctly, some people said that until you have at least 1000 subscribers, your fan finder video won't even be considered. It will just sit there the whole time waiting since it's a free service and there are tons of other people waiting as well.
