Fake/Bought Subs & Views?

So I know this guy who has a couple hundred subs, and his views vary from 400 to 25 on videos. It's pretty obvious just from his social blade that something fishy is going on there, but what are your thoughts on buying subs/views/partnered accounts? My favorite part about uploading is seeing how people react- the views, the comments, likes, subs... It's like it all doesn't matter if you do that. (and of course, it's terribly cheaty)
 
Funny that there's a "virool" ad on this thread lol. It's not worth it, in my opinion. First of all, it costs too much (yea I looked awhile back) and if you buy subs, you won't get views, if you buy views, you won't get subs. if you buy comments, you won't get likes, if you buy likes, you won't get subs. Sooo...unless your willing to put in a lot of money into it, i'd stay away from it. and 25-400 views doesn't sound very fishy to me.

Nah, I'm talking about in the hour. Some videos of theirs get 304'd in the space of a few minutes with them having barely over their amount, and some stick on 25 for days.
 
well if someone does bot and what not... all the power to them i guess..if they feel having false stats will help them get more real traffic....but its when people buy views and subs...and start bragging like they earned all those subs and views and that they are legit when its clear that it's not....that's when i get a little pissy cause its a slap to the face to everyone that works hard.

either way its against the rules are far as i know..

Yeah, I don't quite understand it myself. Isn't it a point of YouTube to grow your channel and help it flourish? Bah, their loss.
 
The only way I would ever consider any kind of purchase to get views is with the adsense tool that lets you promote a vid. At least it's legit and not against YT's TOS. Haven't done it yet, but I'm considering it to promote my new short films.
 
there are so many people that try to cheat there way through life but i just continue being awesom,e through life and let them do there thing. In the end it only hurts them and there not taking my subs and viewers haha, not hurting my channel any either.

Yeah, that's not cheating the system, it's just showing off something you are proud of. I mean, everyone wants to do that.. Some I guess decide to try to find an easy way..
 
Not to mention, fake views get retracted anyways. YouTube isn't stupid, thats why one day you check your stats and you have less views than the day before. It's due to YouTube auditing everyones views.

Because most of the type they take the video and embed it within another popular video (invisibly) and it just racks up views that way.
