I was hoping to hit 50 subs within a month, I told all my friends that has done nothing for me. I just have to hope and pray for something to happen over time. Thanks for all the advice

Yep. Keep going at it and you will soon start growing.
With BioShock, everybody and their dog is doing a LP so it's even harder. Same goes for the gaming niche in general. So many people are doing it so unless you are already big, it's hard to get noticed.
