Personally I would just keep talking to her and explain that you choose not to give certain info about yourself and just be polite to this person. Don't feel like you have to block or unfollow. Just be there for this person if they need. They might not have anyone to talk to and feel like you are their only hope and that you only care so don't be so hard on this person.

The entire point of this post was for advice on how to avoid that lol. I could never bring myself to be hard on someone after they say things like that about my channel haha

So I've read through this and now I just really wanna know if she replied?
I've never had this particularly, I've had people ask for things such as Kik because i'm 'cute' well thankfully, I don't have it so moving on :)
 
Just for the record, the person James it describing is NOT me, although I know you were all thinking "yeah, typical David."

James, I agree with your point of view, and I hope your note went over well and things calm down.
 
You're a really nice person. You spoke with her, explained. If she continues then ignore it because you've explained you are busy so...you know...you're too busy to answer. She lied about a few things from what I understand so she may be lying about her disability. I know that seems awful to say but the amount of people that pretend there is something wrong with them in hopes of getting attention on social media is astounding. If it gets too much then you will have to block her.
Take it from someone older...you're not obligated to her or anyone else so don't let anyone guilt you into feeling like you are. This person isn't a close person in your life. Yes you should absolutely be appreciative of people who support you and even caring but there has to be a line.
You acted right so far. Time to think of how this is making you feel.

Yeah, I think the whole fake death is the most appropriate thing at this point. OOH, or instead of faking your own death, just get her whacked, that'll stop her from stalking you!
 
"Worst" I've ever experienced have been angry Minecrafters demanding free artwork from me, haha. I've gotten messages all over the place, not just on YT. Some people are just so determined.

I wish you luck with this situation though, hope things can work out!
 
whoa! that sounds crazy... I feel for you here. I suggest letting her know gently. Sometimes people try to see how far they can go with you and setting boundaries will probably get you to a healthier place with her. Or she may unsubscribe and hate you but that won't be your fault at all.
