Ever get attacked on YouTube?

I posted this video yesterday, and I guess some high profile person online was offended by it, and had all his followers attack me? I'm not entirely sure what's going on, but it feels really unfair. It's not like my video was even directed at any one person. It's very discouraging for me to even continue to YouTube if people get like this.

Edit: I guess I can't provide the link, but it was called, "Online Dating" on my channel, "RaqibMarvelous" It should be the latest upload.
 
Its annoying, but good that they are commenting about it because all you need to do is block the guy that sent them, and block all these guys and they will probably think you shut your channel down.

This is why you can't have kids on the internet as they just follow the leader and listen to their idols, and this is why we can't have nice things. Best of luck to you bro, its not a nice thing at all
 
I haven't got "attacked" but one time this troll kept leaving rude comments (and I was stupid enough to keep feeding him) and then 2 of his friends showed up to defend him lol.
 
You have three options here the way I see it:

1. Delete the video
2. Keep the video and disable ratings/comments
3. Keep the video and just let people do what they do

It's a 6 second video, and isn't an "important" one if you get me, so just delete it. You can always put it back later.

Did you promote the video anywhere?

Other than me posting it here to vent? Nope, this is the only promotion it has gotten.
 
Forget the haters. Ignore them or black them. If they can't say it to your face, consider it emotionally moot.
 
I have had a few negative ocmments, the worst comming in form reddit. I dont know why people on reddit are so criticle. If you offend someone big they can really give your channel hell. The best thing is to shut down that video and perhaps start a new channel just in case the attack is drawn out. It would be hard to block everyone comming in from said person.
 
Use it. The hate should generate lots of comments and views, even dislikes are counted as interactions with your video. This means that video could lead to more views for your channel and other videos. The trolls and haters are just helping you. But that doesn't mean you should release crap or controversial stuff on purpose, at least not a lot lol I was actually tempted to label my latest video review "Saints Row IV Sucks?" but I decided I didn't want false views. I learnt that little trick from R* Games xD
