End of Summer YouTube Wrap-Up

My channel really began going into April and summer was slow in uploads and views. I was working on a side project so I had less time devoted to videos. Views have been coming in at a trickle since launch. Conversely, my personal channel in which I just upload videos showcasing stuff I own gets steady views (with less subs). My three videos from May have eclipsed my entire new channel in views individually. Considering they took maybe an hour to shoot, edit and upload, it's a little disheartening for my original content that took much longer to produce.

Before summer started I had all these big plans for what I was going to do for my channel over the summer...
But then I spent most of the summer not feeling well and having a lot to do, which has meant I've had to miss a couple of weeks of videos and haven't had much of a chance to promote my channel at all. Oh well, at least I still have a couple more weeks till school starts.

I had time, I made a lot of videos and finally established proper youtube banner which I like. Only avatar left.

Also, I gained tons of positive feedback and was encouraged to work harder.

Overall, I feel like I was pretty successful this summer. I got a ton of ideas that I'm super excited for, and going to VidCon was really amazing! If anything, I was super successful inspiration-wise because now I have so much motivation and a lot of goals! It's super exciting having plans for my channel, so I can't wait for the coming months and what they'll bring for my channel!

Overall, this summer has been a blast for me. I've really improved my video quality and have been experimenting more due to the extra time I've been able to dedicate to my channel. I even hit a 2k Milestone, which is just awe dropping for me since I only had around 300 subs during the beginning of summer. I just hate the fact that I'll have to slow down on uploads when school starts. But hey, overall, a great summer :)

I don't think a lot of stuff changed. Sure, I got more views and subscribers than last year, but that is all part of organic growth. Nothing really stood out. Aside from the fact I got to review 2 cars from people that I had never met in person. That was a new venture I would have never have dreamed of in the past.

I did get back to my normal filming schedule (quantity) in July but I'm more thankful that I got some key videos done in August.
